Preparing training material
For inforamtion on how to prepare training material, please consult Carrying out a risk assessment].
This guide will support you in identifying, engaging with, and completing the training sessions available to you.
- The first step is to access the ‘Trainings’ tab on your dashboard. This is where you will find all the trainings open to you.
- Each training is conveniently named after the assessments they correspond to, allowing you to easily establish the relationship between the two.
- It is key to be aware that trainings are solely connected with locked risk assessments. If a certain training appears to be missing, it’s likely that the corresponding risk assessment is not locked.
- To initiate a training, select ‘Take training’. This will introduce you to the training slides.
Present a slideshow for study or training purposes
To start a slideshow, click the “Slideshow” button. On the initial screen, you can choose which elements to include or exclude. The available options are:
- Risk description
- Risk information
- Implemented measures
- Planned measures
- Notes
Deselecting options will result in a shorter slideshow. When you click “Start”, your preferences are saved and the slideshow begins. Your selection is personal and does not affect other users.
On the next screen, you can scroll through the table of contents and jump directly to any slide. Each time you start a slideshow, it resumes from the last slide you viewed.
At any time, you can return to the table of contents by clicking the bottom-left button in the footer of any slide.
On most systems, you can press the escape button on the keyboard to exit fullscreen mode.
Taking an online training
To view the training material in full, click the “Training and test” button located above the training slides. This will open a fullscreen slideshow of the complete training content.
If you interrupt a training, it will automatically resume from the last slide you viewed. A table of contents is not available in training mode.
Taking a test
- At the end of the training, you may be required to take a test to ascertain your understanding and absorption of the material covered.
- Should you successfully complete the test, you will receive a personal digital certificate as proof of your accomplishment.
On most systems, you can press the escape button on the keyboard to exit fullscreen mode.
